New equipment reduces “Rain Days”

Late in 2008, VanMil made the decision to invest in 2 new pieces of machinery that would help to reduce the impact that wet weather had on the company’s schedule.

One of the biggest challenges in the landscape construction business is trying to schedule jobs and projects around the ever-changing weather report.

A new Bobcat T-300 & 442 Mini Excavator have decreased the crew’s sensitivity to wet soil conditions and expanded the type of projects that can now be completed.

By coordinating the new machines with existing units, VanMil has once again created a diverse team that can handle tasks both large and small at affordable rates.

Training & Teamwork give the VanMil Crew their edge.

“One of the biggest challenges in landscape construction is trying to schedule around the ever-changing weather report”

The team at VanMil Landscaping consists   of a unique blend in skill, experience and ability. By drawing from one another’s strengths, the crew can deliver advanced productivity and accuracy.

New workers are always considered but only those that bring a positive attitude, sincere willingness to learn and a true interest in the art of construction landscaping will be invited to join the group.

-Curb Appeal-

Tips to enhance value

• Remove or trim overgrown shrubs & tree. This will make the front of the building more inviting and spacious.

•Add some colour- Simple hanging baskets or a few well placed planters can cheer up an entrance and help to set a pleasant mood.

•Step it up! Be sure to adjust the height of your steps & level your walkway slabs. A smooth walkway makes for a great entrance!
